Schneier Global Scholars Travel Grants

The Rabbi Arthur Schneier Program for International Affairs of Yeshiva University is pleased to announce the Schneier Global Study Fellowship. Dr. Ronnie Perelis, director of the Schneier Program, announces that a limited number of research fellowships of up to $3,000 in travel funds will be available for Yeshiva University students pursuing original research with an international focus or for intensive language learning abroad. The goal of the travel grants is to enable students to dive into the culture they are studying and appreciate the nuances that only come through spending time in a foreign space. Funds will cover travel, lodging and research-related expenses. To apply for these grants please send a one-page description of your project by April 30, 2019, to the perelis@yu.edu. Be sure to identify specific resources you will access through your travel and any institutional partners you will be working with abroad. Include a short budget, an itinerary and contact information for one faculty reference who could discuss the merits of your project. If accepted students must comply with University travel regulations for their safety.
