Revel MA Student Wins Teaching Award, Thanks Revel

When Revel MA student Mrs. Beanah Greenberg learned that she would receive the Shevach ve-Hodaah Teacher’s Award at Shevach High School’s annual dinner, she knew who she had to thank. “I really feel that the award in great part belongs to you and wanted you to share in my achievements,”she wrote in a letter to her Revel professors. “As a result of the scholarship gained and the methodology that I learned at BRGS, my skills as a teacher of Tanakh on a High School level were immeasurably enhanced.”

Yeshiva University High Schools to Hold Annual Dinner of Tribute on May 16

Yeshiva University High Schools (YUHS) will hold their Annual Dinner of Tribute on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at New York City’s Grand Hyatt. Zev and Judy (Hecht) Berman will be the guests of honor. Special tribute will be paid to their parents, Rabbi Julius and Mrs. Dorothy Berman and Rabbi Michael and Mrs. Sara Hecht. Mrs. Vera Glatt will be awarded Faculty Member of the Year and Rabbi Elie Weissman will receive the Young Leader of the Year award.

Yeshiva University High Schools (YUHS) will hold their Annual Dinner of Tribute on Sunday, March 22 at New York City’s Grand Hyatt. YUHS will honor Rabbi Hyman and Ann Arbesfeld (Kew Gardens, NY). Rabbi Baruch Pesach Mendelson (Brooklyn, NY) and Mrs. Deena Rabinovich (Kew Gardens Hills, NY) will be honored as Faculty Members of the Year.

Nearly 700 people attended Yeshiva University’s Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS) Annual Dinner of Tribute, held this evening at The Grand Hyatt in New York City. Rabbi Zevulun Charlop, dean emeritus of RIETS and special advisor to the President on Yeshiva Affairs, was honored for his extraordinary achievement in Torah learning and leadership over 35 years as the seminary’s dean.

Rabbi Charlop, who served as the seminary’s dean for 35 years, is dean emeritus of RIETS and special advisor to the President on Yeshiva affairs.

Students, parents, alumni, faculty and administration celebrated nearly 100 years of commitment to Jewish values and education at the Yeshiva University High Schools (YUHS) annual dinner of tribute at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square on Monday, June 23. Dr. Edward Berliner of West Orange, NJ was honored as Faculty Member of the Year by YUHS, which is comprised of Yeshiva University High School for Boys / The Marsha Stern Talmudical Academy (YUHSB) and the Samuel H. Wang Yeshiva University High School for Girls (YUHSG).

Philanthropist and industrialist Michael Gamson and his wife, Barbara, residents of Aspen, CO and Houston, TX, and renowned New York immigration attorney Leon Wildes will be honored at the annual dinner of Yeshiva College on Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Pier Sixty Chelsea Piers in New York City.
