Former YU chairman of the board and New York City industrialist Ronald P. Stanton has announced a gift of $100 million to Yeshiva University. The largest single gift ever in North America in support of Jewish education and Jewish life, Mr. Stanton’s contribution affirms his commitment to Yeshiva University’s distinctive mission and his endorsement of the strategic direction set by the University’s president, Richard M. Joel.

Warren Eisenberg, chairman and co-chief executive officer of Bed Bath & Beyond, was elected to the board of trustees of Yeshiva University (YU).
In a unanimous vote, the chairmanship of the Yeshiva University Board of Trustees was transferred from Ronald P. Stanton to Morry J. Weiss, chairman of the board of American Greetings Corporation, at the Sept. 7 board meeting.
Kathryn O. Greenberg, Esq. was unanimously elected chairman of the board of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law of Yeshiva University at a meeting held early in March. She succeeds Earle I. Mack, who held the position since 1992. This marks the first time in Cardozo’s history that the chairman comes from the ranks of its alumni. Ms. Greenberg is a 1982 cum laude graduate of the law school.
