Teens Discuss Balancing World Humanitarian and Jewish Communal Responsibilities at YU Leadership Conference

Yeshiva high school students from around the United States gathered March 13-15 in Houston, TX, for “If We are for Ourselves, Who are We?”, a student leadership development conference. One in a series sponsored by Eimatai, an initiative of Yeshiva University (YU), it addressed balancing responsibilities related to world humanitarian issues and Jewish communal needs.

Communal Leaders and Einstein Dean to Be Honored at Hanukkah Dinner and Convocation

Four of Yeshiva University’s extraordinary communal leaders and philanthropists and Dominick P. Purpura, MD, the Marilyn and Stanley M. Katz Dean of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, will be honored at the university’s 80th Annual Hanukkah Dinner and Convocation on Sunday, Dec. 12, at The Waldorf =Astoria.
