Einstein Researchers Forge a Unique Collaboration in Nigeria
Hillary Lewin, an alumna of Stern College for Women who is studying at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, traveled to Mumbai in the summer as part of a course on Global Health run by the Institute for Public Health Sciences at Yeshiva University. While the group was there, they were hosted to meals at Chabad House, where they mey Rabbi Gavriel and Rivka Holtzberg. Eminent political philosopher and ethicist Dr. Onora O’Neill shone a spotlight on the ethics of public and global health when she spoke as the second Leonard and Tobee Kaplan Scholar-in-Residence of the Center for Ethics at Yeshiva University April 30.
Renowned ethicist and political philosopher Onora O’Neill will present a lecture on “Broadening Bioethics: Clinical Ethics, Public Health, and Global Health” on Wednesday, April 30 at 7:30 pm at the Yeshiva University Museum/Center for Jewish History, 15 West 16th Street. The event is co-sponsored by the Center for Ethics at Yeshiva University (YU) and the NYU Center for Bioethics.
