Dr. Spencer Foreman, President of Montefiore Medical Center, Honored for Lifetime of Service

Spencer Foreman, MD, president of Montefiore Medical Center and professor of medicine and of epidemiology and population health at Yeshiva University’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine, was awarded an honorary Doctor of Science degree this morning by YU President Richard M. Joel at an academic convocation at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore.

Einstein Researcher Receives Lifetime Achievement Award for Research into Multiple Sclerosis

Dr. Cedric Raine, professor of pathology and Wollowick Professor in Multiple Sclerosis at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual meeting of the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers, held in Orlando, Florida, in recognition of his many contributions to the field of MS research. As part of this honor, Dr. Raine delivered the Presidential Lecture.
