Yeshiva University’s undergraduate students and alumni now have a resource for meeting other singles through a new initiative of YU’s Center for the Jewish Future. The program, YUConnects, features social activities and Torah events, a Web site, and one-on-one support from couples.
Allan W. Wolkoff, M.D., professor of medicine and of anatomy & structural biology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, will receive the 2006 Distinguished Service Award presented by the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) at its annual meeting this October.
Four Yeshiva University students have been awarded Wexner Graduate Fellowships for Fall 2006. The prestigious fellowship provides $20,000 a year for up to three years of graduate training.
