Rabbi Arthur Schneier, spiritual leader of the Park East Synagogue in Manhattan and distinguished alumnus of Yeshiva University (YU), will be honored on the occasion of his 75th birthday and 50th year as rabbi at a dinner Sunday, March 20, at The Plaza, Fifth Avenue at Central Park South. The dinner will benefit the Rabbi Arthur Schneier Center for International Affairs at YU.

More than 100 Yeshiva University students made a 48-hour trip to the UN’s International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands, to support Israel’s sovereign right to self-defense. YU students, accompanied by University administration members Hillel Davis, Peter Ferrara, Beth Hait, and Danny Morris joined members of ZAKA organization and students from Israel, in registering their strong dissatisfaction with the UN court’s proceedings on Israel’s defense barrier.
One hundred Yeshiva University students will travel to The International Court of Justice at The Hague on Sunday, February 22 to participate in an international protest against the Court’s hearing on the legality of Israel’s security fence.
