On Monday, May 10, 2021, Yeshiva University hosted its annual Senior Class Dinner for the graduating class of 2021.
The event was planned and organized by the two senior class presidents on campus, Leah Joshowitz ’21 S and Benji Halpern ’21 SB, along with help from the Office of Student Life, with special thanks to Herschel Hartz.
The dinner took place at Biagio’s in Paramus, New Jersey. Even as the event maintained strict COVID policies, it was a great way for the senior class to end this challenging year strong together. They were able to spend the evening with each other eating, playing games and watching various entertainment acts performed by a magician, hypnotist and legendary bagpipe player from Washington Heights. Additionally, the students were given several swag items to remember the event by.
Many students commented that they had an amazing time and really enjoyed having the opportunity to partake in an in-person event one last time before they left college. The dinner highlighted that although the graduating class of 2021 might have faced some unique challenges, they have found a way to persevere and find themselves at the finish line.
