Joel Straus ’82YUHS, ’86YC, ’92C of Kaplan Fox and Kilsheimer LLP and an active promoter of Yeshiva University’s alumni outreach efforts introduced the evening by thanking everyone for attending and emphasizing how events like these “help our students secure important internships and jobs and give Yeshiva University important support and visibility.” The upshot of the conversation among the four companies was that the use for video is on an increasingly steep upward arc, both in terms of production (for example, 300 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute) and consumption (for such things as training and gaming). This high demand creates multiple opportunities for companies like these to find a lucrative niche for their services.
