View from YU: November 2020

Dear YU Community,

After an intensive few months of preparing the campuses for in-person classes and activities, we are ready for the important business of moving the YU community forward.

Over the past few weeks, we have been so glad to welcome many of our undergraduate students back to campus. They are being protected by a strict set of safety protocols and a code of behavior that obliges everyone on campus to protect one another with masks, social distancing, temperature checks and twice-a-week COVID-19 monitoring tests, to name just a few of the rules now in effect.

Regardless of which campus you are on, you’ll notice important but friendly reminders to follow our COVID-19 guidelines so we can all remain as safe as possible.

In this issue of View from YU, you will find news about students, faculty members and alumni along with a look at what YU has been doing to combat COVID-19.

Be sure to check out the calendar of exciting upcoming events, such as the annual Hanukkah Dinner, now reimagined for our virtual world.

We look forward to continuing the Fall 2020 semester, online and in-person, and are ready to share YU’s unique experience of learning and connection with you.

Welcome back!
