YU Names Chief HR Officer

Julie Auster Appointed Chief Human Resources Officer Yeshiva University Vice President for Business Affairs and CFO Jake Harman has announced the appointment of Julie Auster as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective April 1, 2016. "Julie brings a wealth of experience to her new role of providing strategic leadership in the planning and implementation of quality-based, integrated human resources programs for all faculty and staff of Yeshiva University," said Harman. Auster joins YU following a distinguished career at Sarah Lawrence College, where she held positions of increasing responsibility and complexity for more than 30 years and served as vice president and head of human resources. She received her BA from Mount Holyoke College, has a JD from Pace University School of Law, and serves as vice chair of the Board of Directors for the Academic Federal Credit Union. Auster's key responsibilities will be to develop a strategy for operations and coordinate human resource activities across all campuses. She will work closely with department heads throughout the University to design and implement plans that will benefit all employees and enhance YU's organizational performance and capability.
