YU Wins Educational Advertising Awards

Marketing and Communications Department Recognized for Engaging Design and Content Yeshiva University's Department of Marketing and Communications received recognition for its work during the 33rd Annual Educational Advertising Awards, sponsored by Higher Education Marketing Report. A gold award went to This Is Yeshiva University, a publication that serves as a pocket-size directory containing current information on the University’s undergraduate and graduate schools, affiliated organizations, cultural institutions, and academic centers and institutes. Silver awards went to YU Today, a quarterly newsletter, and “Welcome to Cardozo,” a direct mail campaign designed as a series of travel postcards using retro elements. Three products received merit notices: “Your Future Begins Here," an innovative direct mail campaign for the YU Admissions office; Prism, an interdisciplinary publication for Holocaust educators put out by the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration; and Cardozo Life Magazine, an annual compilation of the the renowned law school’s accomplishments. The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest, oldest and most respected educational advertising awards competition in the country. This year, over 2,250 entries were received from over 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries. “Our unique story, our commitment to the University’s mission and the dedicated collaboration of everyone in Marketing and Communications makes winning these awards possible,” said Judy Tashji, creative director at YU.
