YU’s Innovation Lab Joins in Worldwide Effort to Fight Coronavirus

Innovation Lab Logo In this unprecedented moment of global fear about the coronavirus, the Innovation Lab of Yeshiva University, a faculty- and student-led enterprise designed to apply innovation in the service of startup business acceleration, believes human ingenuity can save us from the calamitous effects of this pandemic. Recently, the team at the Lab began an important initiative with a company currently fighting to mitigate the pain and tragedy of the COVID-19 outbreak. Emnotion Israel-based Emnotion asked the Lab for strategic guidance in introducing their powerful predictive AI platform in the service of mapping the path of the coronavirus.  Founded in 2016, Emnotion develops climate forecasting solutions for urban and rural areas, often block by block, using mathematical algorithms. Members of the Lab’s team met via Zoom with Emnotion’s CEO and lead data scientist, and since then, the Lab team has focused on developing strategies for reaching key decision makers in public health, government, industry and technology. Their goal is to integrate their advanced AI dataset with other efforts to get in front of the disease’s exponential growth. The team at the Lab looks forward to contributing the talents, ingenuity and dedication of its students, faculty and partner companies to bring relief to a world in extraordinary need.
