Six Wurzweiler Students Inducted Into the Phi Alpha Social Work Honors Society

Phi Alpha is a society that acknowledges those students who have demonstrated high scholastic achievement as well as leadership in the social work field. The Tau Epsilon Chapter was chartered in July 2013. The chapter’s advisor, Laura Gooch, is “thrilled to have the new chapter established and I’m looking forward to many years of Phi Alpha at Wurzweiler”. The newest inductees of Wurzweiler’s Tau Epsilon chapter of Phi Alpha The first induction ceremony was held on November 19, 2013 where 5 student members were inducted. The members selected were nominated by the Wurzweiler faculty and administrators. The new members include Andrew Chesler, Shoshana Kowalsky, Lauren Matles, Melissa Pullman, and Bena Reiter. The chapter awarded its first honorary membership to Laqwana Alexander, WSSW ’07. The Phi Alpha inductee ceremony program
