cultural arts 12-9

The snow did not stop performers and audience members from attending Central’s Cultural Arts Festival Motzei Shabbat, December 9th. This year’s theme was “We are One” and, under the leadership of Ms. Miriam Bursky-Tammam ’13, it was a resounding success. The Cultural Arts Festival gives students the opportunity to share their talents, whether in chior, dance, poetry, stomp, drama, and band with their Central family and friends. The evening concluded with a scrumptious Melave Malka. Ms. Bursky-Tammam noted that, “I can think of no better way to communicate and display the strength of community than having members from all the different grades with all their different types of talent collaborate to create one cohesive and beautiful performance. Cultural Arts is an opportunity to recognize how strong these girls are as individuals and, simultaneously, how they thrive in Central’s community. I’m tremendously proud of the members of the cast, as they should be of themselves.”
